Accepted into Shanghai Jiao Tong University to study Computer Science and Technology as part of the Class of 2030. Preparing for university also gave me the push to finally create the public notes website I had wanted since I was fourteen.

Started my first software engineering internship with Faradix through a collaboration involving the University of Waterloo. The work centres on software libraries and SDK development, giving me my first experience contributing to software intended for real users and systems.

I had wanted to create a public notes site since I was fourteen, inspired by small personal blogs that felt like hidden gems on the internet. After finishing high school and preparing for university, I finally stopped planning it and began building it.

Started developing LightCBA, an open-source replacement for the software used with West Mountain Radio's CBA battery analyzers. What began as a way to support Linux eventually grew into a much larger project exploring desktop applications, hardware communication, data visualization, and cross-platform development. It remains one of the projects that best reflects how I enjoy approaching software—building practical tools to solve problems I personally encounter.

Made my first meaningful contributions to open source projects. Although they started as small bug fixes and improvements, they completely changed how I viewed software. Open source was no longer something I downloaded—it became something I could learn from, contribute to, and eventually build alongside other developers.

Joined FRC and began working on software, scouting, operations, and competition infrastructure. One of my most memorable moments was helping late night at competition adapt our scouting application for discussion use when meeting were held at competition.

Joined my high school's Electric Vehicle team and worked on telemetry, networking, and data management for our race car. It was one of my first opportunities to build software around real hardware, where reliability mattered just as much as writing code. Looking back, this experience sparked much of my interest in systems, research, and implementations beyond the classroom.
